MyMeter SMS Terms
1. MyMeter helps you stay connected with your utility.
If you opt into Billing Alerts, you will receive messages from MyMeter about when your bill has arrived, when a payment is applied, or when a payment is due according to your settings, message frequency varies based on your settings.
If you opt into Outage alerts, you will receive messages when we predict a power outage on your meter. about your utility usage according to your settings, message frequency varies based on outages on your meter.
If you opt into Usage alerts, you will receive messages about your utility usage according to your settings, message frequency varies based on your settings.
If you opt into Challenge alerts, you will receive messages about your goal settings and how you are tracking against your goals, message frequency varies according to your goal settings.
If you opt into Off Peak alerts, you will receive messages when the utility is entering peak times and potentially controlling any applicable devices, message frequency varies according to settings and utility peak times.
If you opt into Water Leak alerts, you will receive messages when we detect a potential water leak on your meter, message frequency varies according to settings and detected leaks.
2. You can cancel the SMS service at any time. Just text “STOP” to the short code. After you send the SMS message “STOP” to us, we will send you an SMS message to confirm that you have been unsubscribed. After this, you will no longer receive SMS messages from us. If you want to join again, just sign up as you did the first time and we will start sending SMS messages to you again.
3. If you are experiencing issues with the messaging program you can reply with the keyword HELP for more assistance, or you can get help directly at support@mymeter.co.
4. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages
5. As always, message and data rates may apply for any messages sent to you from us and to us from you. If you have any questions about your text plan or data plan, it is best to contact your wireless provider.
