As CEO and lead software designer for Accelerated Innovations, Josh brings sixteen years’ experience in architecting and implementing software applications including building an online medical record system for the University of Minnesota Veterinary teaching hospital and serving as a consulting software engineer for the St. Paul, Minnesota-based Shavlik Technologies.

At Shavlik, a market leader in the simplification of complex enterprise network configuration, compliance and security systems, Josh worked on several projects for fortune 500 companies, including responsibility for user interface design and implementation for Microsoft’s Baseline Security Analyzer, an easy-to-use tool designed for IT professionals in small and medium-sized businesses to help determine their security state in accordance with Microsoft security recommendations.

In 2002, Josh created High Output Software, a company that focused on project-based software consulting for clients that included Agstar, Otto Bock Healthcare, Hunt Technologies and several Minnesota electrical cooperatives. After six successful years of operating and growing High Output Software, Josh formed strategic business partnerships to create Accelerated Innovations.

Josh has led Accelerated Innovations in establishing consulting relationships and partnerships several utilities and metering companies.

Favorite Way to Use Electricity: Josh works incredibly hard. So it’s no surprise he plays incredibly hard when he gets a spare moment; he loves his Xbox and spending countless hours playing Call of Duty and Forza Motorsport.

Rick enjoys camping and fishing in the boundary waters of Minnesota and is looking forward to being an empty nester with his wife Kathy now that his youngest child is in college. Rick has a number of business interests, he’s a personal injury attorney has well as a partner in a concession food company; keeping the AI team well supplied with the popcorn that Joe is so fond of.

He has been a Six Sigma Black Belt improving efficiency and quality at a major pharmaceutical manufacturer, a consultant providing market diligence insights to private equity investors, and a researcher investigating opportunities for maximizing utility-funded energy efficiency. Now he uses his entrepreneurial skills to liberate valuable data from public utility filings.

Mike has more than 20 years of experience in developing applications for small businesses and Fortune 500 companies. His extensive experience includes work on a number of product development projects for MyMeter’s parent company, Accelerated Innovations, and other tasks to support most business functions including manufacturing/operations, marketing, information technology, finance, staffing, and corporate offices of general counsel.

In 2004, Mike worked on the earliest incarnation of MyMeter, built for a Northern MN cooperative. This involved developing detailed project estimates, but none of the initial estimates anticipated that the platform would still be active and growing more than a decade later...

Graduating with an electronic engineering degree from Egypt ,Ihab's early career was spent teaching adults computer technology in his home town of Mansoura, including online tutorials in Arabic that are accessed by a wider student base in the Middle East. His teaching career made it possible for him to stay up-to-date on the newest technology available within the field in order to stay current for his students. In his spare time, Ihab moonlighted as a freelance web developer for Egyptian corporations and non-profit organizations. After being lured away from his native Egypt by his American wife in 2013, Ihab began working with Accelerated Innovations as a software engineer the following year.

Favorite Way to Use Electricity: Ihab can be found Saturday mornings using electricity to watch his favorite Egyptian comedies ... and the occasional American cartoon, especially The Simpsons.
